Debt relief: it's something many Americans need right now. So may people have lost their jobs and can't find new ones. Young people entering the workforce for the first time are faced with little chance of finding a job that they really want and one that pays well. It is a dire situation indeed and one that will certainly last through 2010.
With the economy in ruins, many people are searching online hoping to find something called the Obama federal debt relief plan. The problem is though, that it doesn't exist. People voted for Obama because they hoped he would turn things around and put jobs on the table and money in their pocket. So far it just hasn't happened that way.
The closest thing to a government program is the newly passed Obama credit card debt relief program that puts restrictions on credit card companies and further protects consumers from all the interest rate changes and charges banks and credit companies are instituting more and more these days.
However, none of this helps people who are already heavily in debt by giving them any light at the end of the tunnel. People who are carrying a lot of debt are looking for debt relief solutions from the government and they are just not there. The government is not a babysitter and it is not the answer every time a person gets in trouble, no matter what some people believe.
So, if you go online looking for anything resembling an official . government debt relief plan to help you pay your bills or get out of debt, you are going to be disappointed. What you will find are a bunch of ads for debt consolidation companies that will they say, help you eliminate or drastically cut your debt. Whether those claims have any truth in them I have no idea.
